Frequently Asked Artwork Questions

150gsm silk is a classic, affordable paper type for booklets and has a similar thickness to a takeaway menu. Go for our uncoated, writable option for workbooks or booklets that need filling in. 130gsm gloss is a high-shine finish that’s ideal for catalogues and feels similar to the pages of a glossy magazine. Looking for a more premium option? Our 250gsm silk is the thickest stock available for stapled booklets. This thickness makes the pages more rigid and less likely to bend or tear - ideal for publications made to be used over and over.

We offer a range of different turnaround options for book printing including 1 working day, 2 working days and 3-4 working days. Please note that 'working day(s) refers to the printing and production of your order, delivery will take one extra day.'

For example: A book order that is approved by 6:30pm on a 2 working day turnaround will be printed and dispatched for delivery within two working days. The delivery takes a further working day. If you approved your order by 6:30pm on a Monday, we’d dispatch your order on Wednesday and it’d be delivered on Thursday. These delivery times will vary on bank holidays, so please allow extra time when ordering around bank holidays.

Standard Turnarounds
For our standard turnaround and delivery options, you have until 6:30pm to order and approve your artwork. Simply select an option above with a delivery date that suits you and we’ll ensure it arrives with you on time.

Extended Areas
If your delivery address is in one of the postcodes highlighted on our delivery help page as an extended area, delivery will take a further working day.

Delivery Prices
Our standard delivery cost is £4.99, which is DPD tracked delivery. You can also upgrade to DPD pre-noon delivery for £9.99. Standard delivery is free on orders over £75. You'll be able to select your delivery option at the checkout. For more information, please see our delivery help page.
